LifeSource Update; Hurricane Florence

September 2018

LifeSource staff, thankfully all safe and accounted for, is working diligently to cover both our patients and those from other locations who have been displaced or evacuated due to Hurricane Florence. We are currently almost 100% operational, with very minimal interruptions to patient care.

Our Triage Department is addressing needs for some of the more remote or inaccessible patients by working with local providers and pharmacies, while our clinicians here in the Carolinas are working to get on-site to every accessible facility to ensure patient needs are met. We are so grateful to have the ability, through teamwork and preparation, to continue to ensure that our patients receive the treatment they need in this extremely difficult time.
